ART COLLABORATION: Coda, Bamboo Pocket Rocket

WEBSITE: cultivatedlove.com

Mike Benninghoven resides deep in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. He operates his own retail outlet in the downtown area of Steamboat Springs. The shop is known as “Cultivated Love” named after his popular original paintings and apparel line. Benninghoven is a diehard local Steamboat Mountain shredder and considered by many to be an artistic genius. His medium is layered cut vinyl and spray-painted images and each piece typically is based in a political statement. Now, he has found a new canvas for his works, on the bamboo topsheet of Arbor’s park and mountain shifter, the Coda.
