“The answer to the question, can I surf is no,” says Mason Jennings. “I can’t surf. I have tried and will keep trying but as of now I can surf about as good as I can fly. I did however decide that it was way long over due for me to get a skateboard. So, when I was in LA last month, I stopped into the Brushfire office and they sent me out with a nice Arbor longboard. (and wrist guards, haha.) So, I have been skating all over the country and it rules. About time.”

Please describe your style of skateboarding: I have an old school/new school style. I love incorporating my new school tricks on my old school boards.

Where is your favorite place to skateboard? Up, down and trough Los Angeles…meaning anywhere form the streets to the parks of Venice and the hills of Temescal and Tuna canyon all the way to downtown Los Angeles.

Do you surf? Yes, I surf. I live a block away from the beach so when I have time, I’ll grab a board and go out and rip a few.

Do you snowboard? Yes, I’ve been snowboarding since I was five.

If you could pick four people to go skate with, who would they be and where would you skate? They would have to be Rob Dyrdek, Tony Tave, Tony Alva and J Adams. We would all go skate the Fantasy Factory at Rob’s place.

What is the worst lie you ever told your mom? That she could cook.

What is the worst lie she ever told you? She tried to tell me there was ugly…definitely not true…

Mac or PC? 100% MacBook Pro

Would you rather be smart and ugly or dumb and beautiful? I’d have to go with smart and ugly because after some time of me being so smart I’d find a way to become beautiful.

What is your worst habit? Over eating is my worst habit. My eyes are bigger than my stomach

Describe your perfect day of skateboarding: I like to start my day up with a few hill bombs and then cruise down to Venice in the morning and skate all day. If I feel like it, I hit up a night session in west LA with friends.
