Venice Beach Skateboard Session
Posted on: August 29, 2010 by admin
Ah, summertime…it might be coming to a close soon but there’s still time to take in some rays and enjoy a few more warm sunny days. There’s nothing like a mellow longboard cruse down the boardwalk at Venice Beach. In this video, Arbor freerider skateboard team riders, Josh Hunt, Jimmy Riha, Max Myers and Eric Singer had a mellow day of shredding around Venice on their Arbor Assaults along with some downhill sketchy good times from the hills around Los Angeles. Havent skateboarded in years. Now it hurts way too much when I fall. Cement is not as forgiving as powder. Great video though

Man I gotta find some cool places in Western Washington to longboard by the beach. Gotta love the summertime beach vibe.

The west is so much more tolerant of boarding. I’m in the midwest. I’ve been stopped for boarding a lot lately. If there was a Venice Beach around me I can be assured that I would probably get into trouble riding it. I’m contemplating raising it at the next town hall meeting, has anybody done this before? What are some reasons its frowned upon in places?
