Kowalski Wins East Coast Championship

Arbor Collective Florida rep, Anthony Romero hit up the 2010 NSSA East Coast Open, Explorer, Collegiate and Airshow Championships on April 8-11, 2010 at Sebastian Inlet, Florida. Arbor Skateboards team rider, Dylan Kowalski who took home the NSSA East Coast Explorer men’s championship title. The Arbor Collective supplied bamboo apparel for the top finalists and a brand new Kelly Slater Arbor Skateboard to Noah Schweitzer the NSSA 2010 Jr. Open winner.

Get ready…Kelly Slater’s new Arbor skateboard will be available at the beginning of April which is just around the corner. As a matter of fact, in just a couple weeks, the entire new Arbor skateboard line will be up on the site and available at Arbor dealers everywhere including the new Slater shred stick. In honor of these coming attractions, we decided to put together a few of our favorite Kelly Slater surfing videos for your viewing pleasure and why not make it three perfect 10’s? Here comes summer…here comes warm water and two-a-day surf sessions and if you can’t get in the ocean, you can jump on an Arbor skateboard and surf the streets.

Created with friend and 9x ASP World Surfing Champion, Kelly Slater – this tapered, concave shape is fast down the line and provides the tightest turning available from any skate in Arbor’s “Carver Series.”  The new swallowtail design was inspired by some of the boards Kelly has been surfing lately.  Venice based artist, Jake Pickle developed a graphic for the Slater Series to highlight important elements in Kelly’s life: surfing, music, travel, and friends.
