The bizarre adventures continue for the Van Delirium crew including Ian Sams, Austin Young, Erik Leon and Eli Weiner as they make their way to Mt. Hood, Oregon for some quick laps and backyard sessions at the Summits. Then they head off to Stevens Pass, Washington for a couple days of backcountry fun where they met up with Scotty Vine and Joe Bosler (imagine rail kids in the backcountry.) Things get weird for the Van crew as the long trip and the Delirium settles in.
Why do we snowboard? Why do we care why we snowboard? If we care about why we snowboard, then are we really focusing on what matters most? What does matter the most? Why wouldn’t we just go snowboarding for the sake of snowboarding? Ian Sams, Austin Young, Erik Leon and Eli Weiner did just that. It was a trip. This is episode 1 of their trip from Crestline, California to Stevens Pass, Washington and back known only as Van Delirium. Along the way they connected with many friends including Nick Visconti, Scotty Vine and Joe Bosler. Woooaaahhh Duuude!
Joe Bosler, Byron Bagwell, Shawn Freyer and Brice Niebuhr connected for a Northwest backcountry finale at Mt. Baker and Stevens Pass. This edit is filled with deep powder lines, pillows and just outright getting in some pow slashes. If this doesn’t make you want to break up or get a divorce, sell everything you own, move to the mountains and become a northwest snowboard bum…then nothing will. It’s inspiring.
In this addition of our Video Of The Week, Arbor shredder, Joe Bosler hooked up his homie, Austin Hironaka and others at Stevens Pass in Washington State for a little park jump session. It’s some rare mid-winter fun in the sun in the Northwest.
