“Unfortunately, it seems that the majority of snowboard related comments online these days are hateful and refer to professionals, resorts and events as ‘Gay.’ Although this word is socially unacceptable and normally is incorrectly used with a negative connotation, I created a Tahoe Dangerzone comparing the core culture of snowboarding (which used to be awesome) to the previous action sport counterpart that was also deemed ‘Gay.’ I hope you enjoy the Dangerzone episode,’Fruit-Boarding’ a display of snowboarding’s more likely roots.”
