Great learners board
"This was my first board, purchased after having snowboarded on rented gear only 4 times, so I have limited experience on other boards. (5'9" 170lbs on a 153cm) It has been a great board for learning the basics and getting comfortable cruising and carving, on grooms in particular. I haven't had the greatest time in deeper powder on this board, as a sink or crash fairly easily, but that might be more of a skill issue than a board issue. Smooth and controlled on hard pack but not the best grab on ice. Doesn't cut through chutter noticeably well either. Forgiving! Easy to spin/switch without catching an edge. Has also forgiven me some edge catches on cat tracks/chutter by letting me glide right out of them with little consequence. It feels stable enough below 30 mph and significantly less stable at 40. On the right pack 35 is comfortable but most days 30 seems to be the cap. I outgrew the board within a season (20ish plus days) as an aggressive rider with an instinct for speed, but would recommend this to less aggressive riders and learners."
