Great binding
"I would give five stars but I don’t like the toe strap. I have been riding the Cypress and I also have the previous model with the previous version of the toe strap. The previous version fits better over the toe of the boots after a season breaking it in. It took a whole season to break it in and wear comfortably and not slip off every time I carve hard or get through a mogul field. Personally, the Cypress is the best binding I have been on, the most secure and comfortable ankle strap and ratchets work great. I just wish they had a toe strap more like the K2 Lien that fits easily over the toe. On the plus side, the ankle strap fits so snug that I never even noticed the toe strap slipped off until I was unstrapping at the bottom of the mountain. I ride these all day for hours and the also absorb so much shock that these old knees feel great after 5 hours of charging. The Cypress is very very responsive so this might not be for the lazy rider or beginners they might have you catching an edge on the ice while being lazy. But if you like a stiffer responsive shock absorbing binder with comfortable snug ankle straps then this is definitely the binder for you. If Arbor was to create a more compatible toe strap that could be ordered from their parts I would definitely buy them and replace the ones I have on my two sets of Cypress binders."
