The Terrapin is rooted in 70’s single fin surf design, intended to bring an added pow float to your quiver. The System Rocker Terrapin integrates the Pow System and trades length for volume plus a tapered outline for a loose, surfy float on the deep days.

We use a unique shaping technique that replaces the single radius arc found in traditional camber or rocker with a more advanced parabolic profile. The design blends five separate radii together to create a parabolic arc which gradually reduces the amount of rocker or camber toward the tip and tail. In our System Rocker shapes the design lowers the leading edge to improve edge hold. In our System Camber shapes the design makes the leading edge less aggressive for smoother performance. The blended five radii design also drastically improves our ability to tune each shape in our line for ability level, target terrain and riding style.

The edge control created by Arbor's System platform allows us to add Fenders that slightly lift a board's leading edge off the snow. This dramatically improves turning, spins, float and tracking on cambered snowboards.
Unlike "early rise" or "rockered" nose/tail transition zone, Arbor's Fenders create smoother performance without shortening the camber section of the board. As a result, you get a clean ride without any loss of the pop or performance that comes from full-length camber. Today, we use Fenders on the majority of our System Camber designs.

"Look no further. This board is made to enjoy the deep powder days. I've been riding the 2017/2018 model and every ride has been a blast. This thing manoeuver like a missile. So quick and so responsive! As the other reviewer said, this snowboard makes riding tight trees feel much more easy."
"I work in the snow sports industry and ride many different snowboards. I have owned this little giant since 2018/2019 season. I only ride it when we have fresh powder here at Whitefish Mountain Resort. I have a Jones Flagship, Nitro Squash, and more NeverSummer Harpoon. For tight trees and steep pitches the Terrapin 145 will take you to places you won’t get on a 164. It’s crazy but the surfboard shape at the nose give you the float you need and the narrow tail drops you down in the back to help with driving and control. On packed trails you can’t get lazy with it or it will want to get away from you but this board is a blast if you are looking for something for right trees and steep terrain."
